UniFi U6 Pro vs UniFi U7 Lite

Same 13 W 802.3af budget: Wi-Fi 7 and a 2.5 GbE uplink, or a 4×4 Wi-Fi 6 radio

Our verdict

Both UniFi access points draw up to 13 W from standard 802.3af PoE and mount on a ceiling or wall, so neither needs a PoE+ switch. The U7 Lite brings Wi-Fi 7 and a 2.5 GbE uplink, which removes the Gigabit ceiling on the wired side. The U6 Pro is Wi-Fi 6 with a Gigabit uplink, but its 4×4 5 GHz radio gives it 6 spatial streams against the U7 Lite's 4, and Ubiquiti rates it for 140 m² and 250+ clients versus 115 m² and 200+.
