About NetworkPicker
NetworkPicker helps you choose home networking equipment that fits your home and works together. It compares routers, switches and Wi-Fi access points across brands, checks compatibility with transparent rules, and explains every recommendation.
What we cover
The database currently holds 38 published products from MikroTik, NETGEAR, TP-Link, Ubiquiti. Coverage grows deliberately: a product is published only once its specifications are structured and checked against the manufacturer's own documentation.
Vendor-neutral by design
NetworkPicker is not owned by or affiliated with any equipment manufacturer. No brand pays for placement, and rankings, comparisons and compatibility results are never sold. See our affiliate disclosure for how retailer links are handled.
Deterministic checks, explained
Compatibility results, such as whether a switch has enough PoE power for your access points or whether a router will limit your internet plan, come from fixed rules applied to structured specifications, not from a chatbot's guess. Every warning states the rule and the numbers behind it.
How we verify data
Manufacturer pages and data sheets are the primary source for every specification, each product page links its sources and shows when they were last verified, and unknown values stay unknown. Read the full methodology.
